A Coruña prepares for the New Frontiers in Cosmology 2026 Congress

15/08/2025

From August 10 to 14, 2026, the Galician city of A Coruña will be the epicenter of cosmology with the celebration of the 🌟"New Frontiers in Cosmology" conference. This event coincides with the highly anticipated total solar eclipse on August 12, offering attendees a unique experience that will combine science with astronomical observation.

At a time when cosmology is in a "golden age," the availability of large volumes of data from experiments such as DESI, Euclid, Rubin, the Simons Observatory and others is revolutionizing the field. This conference will be a platform to discuss how new techniques, especially in artificial intelligence data analysis, can take our understanding to new horizons.

The conference, supported by the University of A Coruña, the Simons Foundation, and the Berkeley Center for Cosmological Physics, will bring together leading researchers from around the world. Registration for the conference will be open from August 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025 [here]. Reduced rates apply until October 31.
