Event description

The Language Centre offers courses every term, open to foreign exchange students and the general public. This course is aimed at foreign students of intermediate level who want to improve their linguistic competence in Spanish through fun and cultural activities. Classroom teaching sessions will be combined with cultural visits, aimed at enabling students to relate their culture of origin with the Hispanic culture and to acquire general knowledge of the Hispanic world, which will help them to cope in their communicative exchanges.

Activities*

• History of Spain and Latin America: defensive buildings. Visit to the Castillo de Santa Cruz.
• Famous women of the Hispanic world. Visit to the Casa-Museo Emilia Pardo Bazán. Visit to the Parque das Trece Rosas.
• Plastic arts and architecture. Visit to the Museum of Fine Arts. Visit to the Os Oleiros Museum. Modernist Route.
• Science and nature. Visit to the Casa de las Ciencias. Route through the Bosque dos Veciños natural park.

*The programme of activities may be subject to slight modifications due to the evolution of the pandemic or organisational issues.
