Event description

This course is aimed at foreign students with an elementary level of Spanish who wish to improve their linguistic competence in Spanish through leisure and cultural activities. Classroom sessions will be combined with cultural visits, so that students can relate their culture of origin with the Hispanic culture and acquire general knowledge of the Hispanic world that will help them to cope in their communicative exchanges.

Activities*

• Relevant figures of the Hispanic world: visit to the Casa Museo Picasso.
• Archaeology and history of the city and its relationship with the history of Spain and Latin America: visit to the Castle of San Antón, the Archaeological Museum and the Old City.
• Artistic works (architecture, sculpture and painting): visit to the Tower of Hercules, the Sculpture Park and O Portiño.
• Science and technology: visit to the MUNCYT.
• Gastronomy: visit to the Municipal Market in the Plaza de Lugo, main shopping square
